01 What data we process
We process the data you voluntarily provide in the booking form: full name, phone number, e-mail address, pick-up and destination, ride date and time, number of passengers and any notes. Our server may also record technical connection data (IP address) to ensure security and protect against abuse.
02 Purpose and legal basis of processing
We process the data to handle your enquiry and fulfil the booking — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps necessary to enter into and perform a contract). Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, namely the security of the website and protection against abuse.
03 Data retention period
We keep booking data for as long as necessary to provide the service and until any related claims become time-barred. After that period the data is deleted or anonymised.
04 Data recipients
Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It may only be entrusted to trusted providers of services necessary to run the business (e.g. the hosting provider, e-mail provider) under data-processing agreements.
05 Your rights
You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, port it, and object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO). To exercise these rights, contact the controller at the e-mail address indicated above.
06 Cookies and local data
The website does not use cookies for marketing or tracking purposes. We only use the browser's technical storage (sessionStorage) to remember that the intro animation has already been shown. If you use the embedded Google Map, Google may set its own cookies in accordance with its privacy policy.
